Piano Set №. VI “Album for the Blind” (2023)

This set was composed for a collaboration concert between pianists Michael Shepherd and Choo Choo Hu and the Peabody Composition Department. The set contains seven movements (some with their own micro-movements). The movements were composed between the Summer of 2022 and November 2023 and includes the first composition I wrote after emerging from brain surgery, The Transformations. The piece was premiered on April 3, 2024 by Choo Choo Hu at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University.
