Seven Meditations on the Horrors of the Past (2023)

This piece was written for and premiered by the Old Bay New Music Ensemble on November 29, 2023. Written nearly half a year after my experiences with brain surgery, cancer, and becoming visually-impaired, Seven Meditations is an endeavor to reclaim the trauma of my suffering. It was premiered in Griswold Hall at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University with Juliano Aniceto conducting.
