Hommage á Eleanor Roosevelt (2023)

This piece, composed in March 2023, was originally written in collaboration with loadbang. Hommage was the second piece to be written after the composer’s second brain surgery. It received its first performance on December 1, 2023 at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. This piece is typical of the Quinlan Armstrong Barrie’s miniaturism, and also combines other common features of his music, such as aleatoricism and serialism.
